James W. Pier, Ph.D.

Dr. Pier received his B.A. degree in psychology from Boston College in 1985. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in clinical psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 1991 and 1993, respectively.

Dr. Pier is a licensed psychologist in the State of Connecticut since 1993. He completed his Predoctoral Internship at Yale University School of Medicine in 1992 and his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Hartford Hospital in 1994.

Dr. Pier specializes in child, adolescent and adult neuropsychology. He has extensive experience working with neurologists, primary care physicians, therapists, special education professionals, social workers and vocational rehabilitation professionals. In addition, Dr. Pier provides general neuropsychological consultation and has considerable experience as an expert witness in legal cases requiring neuropsychological opinions.
